Why you’re financially and physically exhausted
Finally I’m back to blogging.
It seems like so long since my last post to you all.
Much has happened in between, including the launch and celebrations of our all new Career Style System and web presence.
Since I last wrote, I’ve decided to ramp up way more self-care and slow time in my daily routine.
This was necessary after receiving a major blow to my blogging confidence and after experiencing a very tiresome Christmas, tending to the needs of others more than myself.
I don’t know any woman, who feels truly rested post Christmas or truly confident after receiving major criticism, do you?
Anyway the antidote to anger, criticism and exhaustion is always MORE SELF-CARE.
That’s right, something really simple that involves treating yourself well is the fastest way to boost your self-esteem and energy levels any day.
So now whether it’s Kundalini Yoga in the morning, a walk on the beach or simply enjoying a delicious green juice upon awakening, I’m committing to self-care (more than anything else in my career ) at the start of each day.
You’d think I’d have mastered this after 18months in Italy, right?
Here , I no longer wake up to a 6am head banging alarm clock, nor am I rushing to the tube half made-up to get to work on time.
Yet despite the career and lifestyle transformation it still takes courage and commitment to permit and implement this vital nurturing time daily.
Often we feel guilty about doing nothing or ashamed if we’re not achieving something tangible every day.
It’s easy to assume that because you’re not feeling stressed or doing something taxing, you don’t need to treat yourself well.
What you’re really saying though is “I haven’t earned it”.
This is typical London CityGirl behaviour.
She’s a fantastic “doer” often creating major success out of chaos , but if imbalanced , at much cost to her own wellbeing.
The question to ask yourself if you resonate with this aspect of yourself right now is:
How will you know when you’ve done enough?
Will you wait until you’re lying in bed completely burnt-out physically and financially?
Will you know only when you’re having a break down or crisis in your current relationship or career ?
If your ample busyness or major burn-out is the only time you permit yourself a rest, a reward or a time of renewal perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate your ideas around your own self-worth.
Regardless of which CityGirl Career Style you’ve discovered you are, remember that you’re a human being not a human doing, add some being and self-care to your life today, this paves the way to your greatest transformation in your work, wealth and wellbeing every day.
