CityGirl Guide…..Lady Gaga’s Right, Baby You Were Born This Way!
“ Rejoice and Love yourself today ‘cause baby you were born this way” Lady Gaga
You were born with purpose.
There’s no competition with others when you embrace your true purpose.
From the age of 7 I imagined myself as a Teacher, I would visualize myself with an audience of students eager to learn with me.
I often returned home from school and went straight to my room, excited to start my homework because this was my chance to play school and be the Teacher!
I would dress up as the Teacher, organize my “classroom” and call a register with my imaginary students so we could all do the homework together.
My vision was crystal clear and yet I was only a child imagining things, interestingly all that I ever imagined one day became real!
Having manifested this vision and now having taught hundreds of Children , I am certain that your true purpose in life reveals itself in childhood and is always related to what brings you the most joy.
There is something you start seeing or start doing , particularly between the age of 7 and 11, that sets in stone your future leadership and reason for being.
Sadly many children have their vision and ideas crushed by adults , parents and teachers around them, who like to throw in a mix of fear or critical opinions.
But remember you were born this way , so no matter what anyone else says or does, your purpose can never be taken from you.
I left my day job as a Teacher after 7 Years, not because suddenly my purpose changed but because my vision transformed.
I’ve learned that it’s the vision that propels your destiny, if you can see with clarity what you would love to create and you commit to enduring whatever it takes, you’re going to get there.
I’m sticking to the new vision of a different audience as a new style of Teacher and it’s emerging!
Guess what? You can too!
Tips Tricks and Techniques to Propel Your Purpose
1. Be Who You Were Born To Be.
That means finding out more about yourself, commit to investing in yourself and discovering your structural values. Return to your childhood and decipher what repetitive ideas , patterns or actions you can recall.
2. Find your biggest Why.
How you act on purpose is very different to why you do it! Most people don’t know why they are doing or loving what they do . My how is Teaching but I only recently discovered why I do what I do after much searching. This has had a huge impact specifically on the clarity of my message and where I am headed next.
3. Take time to visualise.
If you can’t see it you can’t be it! What are you visualizing most? Make a conscious effort to do it more and add lots of details for your future life.
4. Boredom leads to Burn Out, recognize your body’s signals as a time to change.
You’re always on Purpose but if you find yourself suffering or stuck despite doing what you once enjoyed, perhaps it’s time to transform it, as I have done , towards what you’d really love.
5. Act as if
Remember as a child I was acting as if I was the Teacher when I got home from school? When you act “As If ” you send out an energy that says “Nothing is Missing” so the Universe responds in kind by gifting you with what you desire!
6. Endure pain as well as the pleasure
If you can’t bear the challenges and the hurdles that arise along the way and you’re not willing to embrace both sides to fulfil your dream, then you’re not pursuing what you’d truly love.
7.Read “Brand You” by (CityGirl Business Mentor) John Purkiss.
Mentors are great when it comes to your career but only if they have experience related to your search and if you’re willing to invest in their expertise.Books like Brand You can help you gain clarity and understanding about yourself and what you uniquely are here to do .
