3 Ways To Create Momentum In Your Business FAST
Twelve months ago I sat on the beach wondering when I’d finally work again.
Pretty ironic considering I couldn’t wait to stop working , I was the woman who left her day job faster than lightening not so long before.
Having had a whole year off though, I was totally ready to step into being of service again, I just didn’t know how.
The dreaded “how” , most people block their purpose and creativity with that one question.
How will I do this?
How many people will show up?
How much money will I make?
This obsession with “how” is merely a source of procrastination , focused on the big vision you fail to focus on the next small step.
Then you beat yourself up for seeing no results, I know what that’s like.
Twelve months on though I’m amazed at what has happened since sitting on that beach deciding it was time to serve despite knowing how.
From hosting intensives in Paris and Italy , to offering high-end programmes with clients globally, to creating gatherings for women in my favourite Cities and now to experiencing my first ever $24,000 month!
All this despite knowing how I was going to best serve .
3 Ways to create momentum in your business FAST
1) Follow repetitive guidance
Consider what ideas you’ve been contemplating over and over and commit to executing one of them asap, whether it’s hosting an event, going to a seminar or buying a book you keep hearing about, investing in a mentor. Do it today and see where it takes you. Most of your “hows” are already showing up for you but are you following the guidance?
2)Choose action over anxiety.
Instead of fearing what you’ll need to do to get to where you want to be in your career or finances, simply take action. You already know what that action is because it’s likely been nudging you over and over, so next time you notice anxiety know that it’s your blocking strategy ,set it aside by taking action.
Write a list considering what actions you can take today, this week and this month to get you to where you want to be. Start small and build up.
3) Commit to process not product
Too many highly talented women are too focused on the end result and being recognised for their efforts, that it’s getting in the way of their success.
Instead consider the style in which you’d love to serve and focus on that first, what does it look like, what will make it fun for you, what would inspire you- this leads to the best end result but keeps momentum going in the process.
